2019 Cabernet Sauvignon, Judges Reserve
A tribute to winery co-founder Judge Royce Lewellen, this limited-production wine represents the very best of what our Valley View Vineyard can offer. Sourced from select parcels of Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2019 Judge’s Reserve is the result of rigorous vineyard and cellar selection, crafted to embody both power and refinement.
On the nose, the wine opens with blackcurrant, cedar, and dark cocoa, layered with notes of violet, graphite, and toasted spice. The palate is bold yet composed, offering rich tones of black cherry, espresso, and savory oak, framed by fine-grained tannins and vibrant acidity. A long, seamless finish suggests both grace and longevity.
Aged in hand-selected French oak barrels, this wine was produced in extremely limited quantity and built for long-term aging. Drink now with decanting, or cellar confidently through 2035 and beyond. The 2019 Judge’s Reserve is not just a wine—it’s a legacy in a glass.
