2013 Syrah
The Syrah grapes for this wine were hand-picked from our Valley View Vineyard, a site known for producing wines of depth, structure, and longevity. After more than a decade of careful aging, this 2013 Syrah has evolved into a dark, expressive wine that beautifully balances power and grace.
In the glass, it shows deep garnet hues with subtle brick at the rim, hinting at its maturity. Aromas unfold gradually—blackberry compote, dried plum, and fig layered with notes of cracked pepper, smoked meat, leather, and warm earth. Time in bottle has softened the tannins, revealing a supple, silky mouthfeel while preserving the wine’s core of savory intensity.
On the palate, the wine is rich yet composed, with lingering flavors of dark fruit, spice, and a gentle savory edge that carries through a long, elegant finish. This is a Syrah that speaks to patience and place—complex, graceful, and deeply satisfying, showing just how beautifully this vineyard and vintage have aged.
