October is Adopt-a-Dog month!

The tasting rooms and dog lovers of the village of Solvang are gathering in conjuction with the Solvang 3rd Wednesday event to raise funds, wash our dogs, gather blankets, snuggle with adoptable dogs, and drink great wine - all to benefit the Santa Ynez Valley Humane Society!

Join your friends at Lucas & Lewellen, Toccata, and our partner dog-loving Tasting Rooms and pet suppliers, listed below to honor the good work of the Santa Ynez Valley Humane Society with your support.

Tasting Rooms:

Cali Love - to donate 10% of the day's sales to the Santa Ynez Valley Humane Society
Caravintas - to donate 10% of the day's sales to the Santa Ynez Valley Humane Society and feature a mobile groomer
Good Life - to donate 10% of the day's sales to the Santa Ynez Valley Humane Society, feature a dog adoption station, and collect blankets and towels

(Tasting Rooms marked with an asterisk ( * ) sell Solvang Third Wednesday Wine Walk passes on the day of the event for $20, a ticket to taste at any of the participating wineries, which are marked in red. Wine Walk passes are a great money saver – be sure to spend what you save at the Tasting Rooms or donate it directly to benefit the Santa Ynez Valley Humane Society!)

The Lucas & Lewellen Tasting Room staff will be inviting their dogs! That's right. Bring your dogs to meet Andy's dog Angus, Lars & Kathryn's dog Sparky, and Cindy's dog Logan among others. Don't have a dog? Bring a big heart, because volunteers at the Santa Ynez Valley Humane Society will bring their newly adoptable dogs to visit with you at Lucas & Lewellen, Caravintas, and Wandering Dog. Bring blankets, towels, and sheets for the Santa Ynez Valley Humane Society to use to keep their pooches warm and dry this winter. And bring your taste for great wine!
