The first Santa Barbara Chowder Fest was first held in 2010 as a charity cook-off benefit for the Legal Aid Foundation of Santa Barbara County. Since then, Chowder Fest has grown to an annual “must attend” event for the area’s best chefs and restaurateurs vying for bragging rights of “Best Chowder in Santa Barbara.”

Numerous local wineries and brewers are also available for attendees to sample their finest, along with live music and a silent auction.
