2019 Nebbiolo Barbera
This is an artful coming together of 60% Nebbiolo and 40% Barbera. These two Italian favorites were co-fermented in small 1 1/2 ton fermenters and barrel aged for nineteen months in neutral French oak. The blend exhibits dried cherry flavors of the Nebbiolo, the “noble” grape of Italy, and plum with cranberry flavors of the Barbera. The result is this pleasing, rare concept wine, of which limited barrels were produced.
