2018 Petite Sirah

The 40+ year old Petite Sirah vines, growing on their own roots in our cool Los Alamos Vineyard, are carefully farmed to maximize varietal characteristics that reflect the special terroir of the region. In the wine, elegant aromas of blueberry, black cherry, ollalieberry, and warm red cherry tart abound. This inky, dark red Petite Sirah glides across the palate with a lingering silky texture before giving way to intense flavors of fruit pie with hints of caramelized sugar and vanilla crust. This Petite Sirah has a big mouth feel and ripe, smooth tannins. This wine finishes with a silky, warm palate impression.
