Grown in a 3 acre block on our Valley View Vineyard, Clone 6 Cabernet is typified by loose bunches with small berries that produce remarkable intensity of color, flavor and body. The 2017 vintage of Lucas & Lewellen "Clone 6" Cabernet Sauvignon boasts aromas of sandalwood, pomegranate and cardamom that lead into a medium-weight palate of blackberry and plum. Mature tannins on the mid-palate lead to a long, velvety finish.
This wine may be enjoyed now or it will continue to impress with bottle aging through 2027.
