2013 Cabernet Sauvignon, Clone 6
Grown in a 3 acre block on our Valley View Vineyard, Clone 6 Cabernet is typified by loose bunches with small berries that produce remarkable intensity of color, flavor, and body. The 2013 vintage of Lucas & Lewellen "Clone 6" Cabernet Sauvignon boasts notes of black currant, plum, and cassis, laced with a thread of woodsy spice through the mid-palate and finish. Perfectly suited to robust meat dishes, decant and allow to breathe for an hour before enjoying. This wine may be enjoyed now or it will continue to impress with bottle aging through 2022.
Try pairing with Father John Finley's succulent Prime Rib.
